Mainikaran Kullu (Himachal Pradesh) is located is in the Parvati valley on river Parvati, northeast of Kullu of Bhuntar in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, and it is located about 35 KM from Kullu.This Smalltown attracts tourists visiting in Manali and Kullu to its hot spring and summer and pilgrims centers.An experimental geothermal energy plant has also been set up here.

Manikaran Temples Kullu is a religious place for Hindu and Sikh.The Hindu and Sikh believe that Manu recreated human life in Manikaran after the flood, making it a scared area.It as many temples and Gurudwara.There are temples of the Hindu deities Rama, Krishna, and Vishnu.Their area is well known for its hot Spring.and its beautiful landscape.
According to the legend, When the Hindu God Shiva and his consort Parvati were walking in the valley, Parvati has dropped earrings.The jewel was seized by sheesha, the serpent deity, who then disappeared into the earth with it.Sheesha only surrendered the jewel when Shiva performed the cosmetic dance, The Tandav and shot the jewel up through the water.Apparently, jewel continued to be thrown up into the water at Manikaran until the 1905 Kangra (Himachal Pradesh) earthquake.

The Temple is hugely revered as it belongs to Lord Shiva.However, an earthquake in 1905 caused damage to the temple and it was slightly tilted.The importance of Manikaran is also judged from the fact that devtas of the Kullu valley pay regular visit to this place on the specified date.
